영화 <원스>!랑 관련이 있죠
한때 음악 영화로 인기를 끌었었죠!

 

바로 그 영화의 실제 역할을 한 배우이자, 남주인공 배우인

글렌 핸사드(Glen Hansard) 입니다. 

진짜 아일랜드 출신 가수이기도 하죠.

 이 곡으로 전세계의 호응을 얻었고,

2008년엔 미국 아카데미 시상식에서 주제가상을 받았습니다.

자신의 음악 인생을 시작했다고 했습니다.

정말 영화 처럼요..

1990년 밴드 The Frames를 결성하고
2007/08년 알려지기까지 대중들에게
그리 사랑을 받지 못했습니다.

영화를 찍고 나서도,
상을 받고 나서도 인기를 얻었지만,

또 시간이 지난후
사람들에게 많이 잊혀져 갔죠.

 

그리고 최근에 발매된
2019년의 음악이 떠올랐습니다.

하지만, 여전히 falling slowly 처럼
대중적인 것이 아닌,

자신의 색깔의 음악으로

활동을 하는 그의 모습이 보기 좋습니다.

가끔 원스의 음악을 들으면

낙원상가도 생각이 나고,
비 오는 날 악기 들고 가는..
그런, 느낌적인 느낌이...

( 물론 비올때 악기 들고 다니면 안좋아요>.<)
