요즘 날씨가 꾸릿꾸릿 하기도 하고, 비도 가끔와서 특히 비가 오는 수요일이 특별하게 느껴지기도 합니다.이곳은 흐리지만, 곧 비가 올 것 같아요. 수요일에 비오면 <장미꽃>을 줘야한다는데!, 혹시 주신분 혹은 받으신 분 계신가요?! 

오늘의 플레이리스트를 장식할 아티스트는 바로 미국의 싸이키델릭 팝 밴드 Mild High Club, 마일드 하이클럽!입니다.

2013년부터 활동했지만, 현재는 활동이 미비한 그룹입니다.  가장 최근 작품은 아니지만, 거의 마지막이다 싶은, 피쳐링한 앨범 Jerry Paper를 끝으로 감감 무소식인데, 워낙 이 장르가 매니악층만 형성되어 있어 그중에서도 많이 주목받지 못한 듯 하기도 하고 생각보다 많이 뜨지 못한 밴드 같습니다. 좀 밋밋하지만, 마음 편안하게 듣기엔 딱 좋은 음악이라고 생각하고 추천드리는 수요일 플레이리스트 시작합니다!

어렸을 때, 유치원 다닐때 말이죠. 가끔 단편적 기억이 나느데, 비가 엄청 오는데 아랫집 언니네랑 옥상에 올라가서 맨발의 청춘 이러면서 우산도 안쓰고 옥상에서 맨발로 첨벙청범 물놀이 하면서 놀았던 기억이 있답니다. 가끔 생각나는데, 그 주택을 성인을 되고 나서 가본적이 있었는데 정말 당시에는 큰 집이었는데, 지금보니 좁은 골목의 오래된 주택 외관이 보이더라구요. 물론 90년대의 추억,  또 집 옥상에서 가끔 테니스 공도 날아오고 했는데 집 옆이 바로 테니스 연습장이었거든요. 어마어마하게 큰 연습장이었는데 7살도 안된 어린 나이에 그때의 느낌이 가끔 생각나더라구요. 여중고 학교에서 무궁화에 있던 풍뎅이도 잡고, 장수풍뎅이, 금풍뎅이 등등...다 잡은 기억도 있고 초등학교 시절보다 그 이전의 단편적인 기억이 떠오를 땐 참 신기하기도 합니다. 그게 꿈 같기도 하고, 기억의 단편 같기도 하조 말이죠. 음악은 누군가의 오마쥬를 통해, 그 이미지의 단편을 끌어낼 수 도 있는 좋은 매개체 입니다.
