안녕하세요 21세기문방구에 오신 것을 환영합니다!

 

애드시런이 5월5일에 정규 새 앨범을 발표했습니다!

앨범의 제목은

`-`(Subtract)

수학기호 앨범의 마지막이 될 제목입니다!

자신의 싱어송라이터로써의 뿌리를 되짚어 보는 앨범으로

개인적인 슬픔과 희망을 배경으로 쓰여진 앨범이 될 것이며

가장 솔직한 모습을 발견할 수 있을 음악으로 느껴질 것이다. 

지난 10년동안 ´- 작업을 하면서 애드시런은 어쿠스틱 앨범에 대한

끈을 놓지 않고 나열된 이제껏 나온 음악들을 뚜렷하고 선명한 그림으로써

수백 곡을 작곡하고 녹음했다. 

 

그가 표절 시비로 그간 마음 고생을 했었던 것과

아내의 출산 전 종양...

친구의 죽음 등...

그 시간들 동안 겪었던 수 많은 일들에 대한 감정을

음악에 담아 넣은 듯 음악들이 가진 밀도가 

한 곡 한 곡 들을때마다 엄청나고

곱씹어서 볼 수 있는 뮤비들도 펼쳐진다.

이번 앨범도 정말 위대하다고 생각이 든다.

매번 이런 이벤트적인 퍼포먼스에 흠뻑 빠지게 되는 것 같습니다.

뛰어난 작곡 능력, 그리고 어쿠스틱 기타 연주로 다양한 장르를 자유자재로 커버하는 능력이 있다. 예술가 집안에서 태어나 어릴 적에 피아노와 첼로 등 클래식 음악을 배우며 밥 딜런, 에릭 클랩튼 등을 들으며 싱어송라이터의 꿈을 키웠다. 빌보드 차트 200에서 1위를 여러번 했으며 대표곡 "Shape of You"는 총 726만장을 돌파했다. 이 곡은 한국에서도 1억 스트리밍을 달성한 팝송이다. 게다가 이 곡은 빌보드 핫 100 Top 10에 33주 머물렀으며, 단 한차례도 10위 밖으로 떨어진 적이 없었던 세계최고의 팝송으로 등극하였다.
