전, 밤과 새벽 그 사이의 시간을 굉장히 좋아합니다.

그냥, 아무도 없는 곳에서 자전거를 타고, Sky Line의 한 장면처럼 

안개속에서 도로를 달리고 싶어요. 

아직까지 판타지가 많은 나이랍니다 하하, 뭘 그리도 하고 싶은게 아직도 많은지 말이죠..

나이가 들수록 할 수 있는 것들이 늘어나니, 계속 하고 싶은 것들이 많아집니다.

게다가, 밤은 감상적인 제2의 자아로 데려다주는 것 같아요.

미국의 싱어송 라이터로, 2014년에 데뷔하여 2015년 데뷔앨범 "Coming Home"의 곡이 알려지게 되고, 그해, 제58회 그래미 어워드에서 최고의 알앤비 앨범이 노미네이트 되었습니다. 그의 소울앨범들은 1950년대와 60년대 스타일로부터 시작되었고, 특히, 리듬앤 블루스에 따른 스타일을 고유하고 있습니다. 그가 대중으로부터 사랑받는 곡을 꼽자면,  "Coming Home"(2015) 과 Good Thing"(2018) 그리고 "Bet Ain't Worth the Hand"가 가장 유명합니다.

PREP - Line By Line feat. Cory Wong & Paul Jackson jr (2018)

 

영국의 알앤비, 소울밴드

대부분 음악을 시작하면서, 데모를 만들기 시작하면서 본격적으로 음악의 스타트를 여는 것 같다. 이 밴드 또한, 멤버 3명이 우연히 데모 작업을 하기시작했고, 그 음악이 바로 "Cheapest Fight"이었다고 한다. 그리고 나서, "Futures" 작업을 하게된다. 다른 밴드들보다 음악 패턴이 미묘하게 어렵게 느껴질 수도 있을 것 같은 스타일이라고 생각하는데,  밴드의 이름인 " PREP" 처럼, 뭔가 preparation(준비)의 약자로 쓰여진 것 처럼, 무엇이든 준비된 자세라는 매우 독특한 이름을 정한 것도 새롭고 신선하다.  대중음악임에도 불구하고,  트렌드에 따르지 않고 밴드 본연의 다양하고 독특하고 밀도있는 음악을 하는 밴드라고 생각이 든다.
