좀 섭섭하게 느껴질 수도 있지만,

요즘 꽤 신선한 음악들은 거의 듣보잡(듣도 보도 못한 잡...;;)이 많아서 놀랍다.

 

그런데, 더 놀라운 것은 거의 프로페셔널한 앨범이라 더 놀랍다. 물론, 요즘은 데모도 거의 곧 앨범을 나갈정도로 완벽하게 만들어야 하는데, 확실히 대중음악과 음악기술력의 발달과 프로그램과 관련 기기의 발전이 가져온 결과물이 아닐까 한다. 이젠 AI프로그램이 마스터링을 하는 시대이니까 말이다. 과거 가수들은 좀 억울한 면이....듣보잡이지만, 꽤나 매력적인 가수를 소개한다. 바로,

Audrey Mika (*2000), 오드리 미카, 미국의 싱어송 라이터이자 가수
꺅! 2000년대 생들이 활동하는 걸 보면...
아..이제 내가...ㅠㅠ 벌써...아니야..ㅠㅠ 싶다..(뭐라고 하는지 모르겠다구요?...네..ㅠ)

기본기가 재즈로 다져져서인지 확실히 보이스가 남다른 가수, 하지만 2018년 앨범을 낸 이후로 관심을 받기 힘들었던 때가 있었다. 그로인해 유투브에서 다양한 아티스트의 노래 커버를 하기 시작하고, 베드룸 팝 작업을 하면서 2019년에 새 앨범을 다시 내게된다. 올해 앨범에서 유독 마음에 드는"Excuses"  스쳐지나갔던 음악이라고 보기엔 너무 좋아서 추천, 안타깝게도 존재감이 없지만(존재감이 없는 이유가, 내가 보기엔 컨셉의 문제가 있다. 비슷비슷한 이런 컨셉의 음악들은 너무 널려있다.) 그러나,  음악성이 좋아서 리스트에 넣은 가수. 현재 이 업계에선 핫한 가수가 아닐까 생각한다.
